A Groundbreaking, grassroots event!
SPIN London was the worlds’ first urban focused bicycle consumer show & festival, making it’s debut in East London on the bank holiday weekend of 3rd, 4th, 5th May 2013. Circa five thousand people came through the event over the three days and for the event’s first year SPIN performed well.
Set in the historic hotbed of consumer cool & street culture at The Old Truman Brewery in East London, SPIN London promised to be the hottest ticket the city has to offer for cycle traders, enthusiasts & the general public.
Unlike other mainstream bike trade shows SPIN London sharpens the focus on the urban cycling scene by embracing the most progressive, forward thinking international brands & smaller independent makers in Fixed gear, Single Speed, custom & BMX bikes.
Alongside this hardware were emerging cycle fashion brands, apparel & accessory retailers and creative talent from this exciting urban cycling subculture. This creative cyclic cacophony congregated to discuss & share ideas & bring their unique products and spirit to the London public.
Some of Londons’ best emerging DJ talent will played music live throughout the show & festival. Cycle-Art Installations, talks, screenings all ran parallel to compliment the show festival experience, essentially creating an ad-hoc, subversive, sub-level village for the discerning urban cyclist!
