‘SuperTed’ Speaks:
TJD- Ted James Design is a one man operation. Although i ride all kinds of bikes I grew up racing mountain bikes and riding BMX, i am obsessed with engineering and love making bikes. What really drives me is working out new and improved ways of working and so to design and build better machines for the job.
At the moment i offer custom one off builds, prototypes and also batch builds for the trade. I am machining a lot of my own parts including headtubes, bb shells and fittings which i use on my builds and are available to other frame builders too.
I build all styles of bikes from lightweight ladies town bike to hardcore mountain bikes and BMX, enjoy this short film about the craft and process of bike building.
